We started in 2017 with a simple observation: people learning aerobic dance from recorded videos kept asking the same questions. They needed feedback on form. They wanted to see variations demonstrated in real time. They struggled with timing when following along with static tutorials.
Most online dance instruction is one-way communication. We built a platform where instructors see participants and can correct technique during the session.
We focus on fundamental movement patterns that work across different aerobic dance styles. Proper alignment for grapevines. Weight transfer in step-touch combinations. Timing in kick sequences.
This approach developed after watching hundreds of participants struggle with choreography because they were missing basic mechanical understanding.
Instructors monitor participant camera feeds during practice segments. When they notice someone compensating with their lower back instead of engaging core, they can address it immediately.
This matters because improper form in aerobic dance accumulates. A slight hip misalignment repeated 200 times in a session creates strain patterns.
Sessions follow a deliberate progression. Week one establishes baseline movement vocabulary. Week two adds layering and direction changes. Week three introduces rhythm variations.
We tested faster progressions. Participants could execute movements but couldn't explain why they were making specific choices, which limited their ability to practice independently.
